Locations

Reach Site #1 is located in South Sacramento Ca, off of Fruitridge and Odea Dr. This site serves up to 45 clients, both ambulatory and non- ambulatory. Features of this site include a large gated outdoor area with a basketball hoop, a large grass area and room for a garden. Indoors there are a variety of small classrooms for participants to engage in a variety of activities both in small and large groups, as well as a music, art and computer room.
Reach Site #2, is located near Rancho Cordova off Highway 50 and the Mather Field exit. This location doubles as our cooperate location, housing all administrative related offices as well as day programming. This site is designed to serve 30 participants both ambulatory and non-ambulatory. Features include a large client lunch room, a variety of small classrooms and a large area for group activities including dancing and exercise.
Reach Site #3 is located in Elk Grove CA, off of Laguna Blvd. Elk Grove is the largest of the Reach sites serving up to 45 clients both ambulatory and non-ambulatory. This newly remodeled site features a spacious layout with many classrooms, as well as a kitchen, exercise room, media room and client break room as well as new furnishings.
Reach Site #4 is located in Rocklin California, off of Lonetree and Sunset Blvd. Features of this site include a large activity area for participants to meet and engage in group activities, a dedicated compute and an art room. This site can accommodate both ambulatory and non-ambulatory participants with a 30 person capacity. Geographically this site is close in proximity to a variety of locations within walking distance including, a Starbucks, bowling ally and eateries.
Reach Site #5 is located in Roseville Ca, off of highway 65 and Blue Oaks Blvd. This site serves up to 45 clients, both ambulatory and non- ambulatory, however based on fire regulations, non-ambulatory participants must be able to self-propel their wheelchair to exit the building independently within two minutes. Features of this site include a large gated outdoor area with a basketball hoop, a walking track and outdoor seating. Indoors there are a variety of small classrooms for participants to engage in a variety of activities both in small and large groups.
Reach Site #6 is located in West Sacramento CA, off the Jefferson exit. This site serves up to 30 clients, both ambulatory and non- ambulatory. Features of this site include a large gated outdoor area with a basketball hoop and an outdoor picnic area. Indoors there is a large activity area dedicated to group instruction, computer area, exercise area, café type area, and a small classroom area for smaller group instruction. This site is geographically located near a variety of community integration sites including downtown Sacramento, restaurants and shopping.

Who we are

Reach Adult Development, Inc. is a Behavior Management Adult Day Program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities aged 22 and beyond who are eligible for services through Alta California Regional Center.

We have six locations across the greater Sacramento area servicing Rocklin, Roseville, Elk Grove, West Sacramento, South Sacramento and North Sacramento.

Each of our six sites has a capacity of 30 clients with a 1:3 staff to client ratio.

Our core curriculum is based on the idea of challenging one’s self at the highest potential in order to find the maximum possible outcome within the least restrictive environment.

SELF-HELP
Teaches/Supports the individual in completion of Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) which involve hand washing, teeth brushing, toileting and maintaining the overall health of the individual through personal care.
SELF-ADVOCACY
Teaches individuals to advocate for themselves by learning communication methods to express their feelings, needs and wants in an appropriate manner. Vocational & Pre Vocational

Teaches individuals vocational skills and pre-vocational skills that enhance the capability of obtaining possible job placement. Examples include: janitorial duties (sweeping & mopping,) clerical tasks ( making copies & shredding)
COMMUNITY INTEGRATION
Reach’s community based component focuses on socialization skills, money management, and safety skills during weekly community integration opportunities. Outings include bowling, shopping, dining in the community, visiting the Library and appropriate behavior that will enhance their social and interpersonal relationships within the community.
BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT
teaches individuals to communicate in appropriate ways by following intervention strategies through redirection, prompt sequencing, positive reinforcement.
